Daily WTF...

A man stalks a woman for seven years. Amongst an extensive catalogue of other activities, he Googled her name 40,000 times - that's slightly over 15 times a day.

His lawyer claimed (presumably with a straight face) he has "no psychiatric problems."

In other, admittedly less interesting, news, I seem to have accidently changed my bike lock combination when I was a bit rough with it. I've checked the numbers close to the previous combination but no joy. So this has to be done the hard way - 654 down, 9346 to go. < sigh >

I just realized the Christian dude in Sinfest looks like a pawn.

I'm very dense for not spotting that before.

Epilogue for Thursday, after writing yesterday's entry and on the way home, I got pulled over by the cops and breatlalised! for the first time ever! No worries, BTW - I hadn't had a drink in 48 hours but what gives!

Hooray for the security pork barrel!

1) Develop some idea...
2) Figure out some bizarre, obscure way it could be applied to "security" - extreme hand waving is obligatory.
3) Stand by while it starts to rain money courtesy of gullible government departments, research councils and investors.

Currently I'm trying to figure out exactly what terrorist attack scenario would be averted by this technology - stumped so far.
